Tackling a full-throttle gut renovation of this Nashville home and pool house, Roger and Ann leaned heavily into creating a cozy yet luxurious family home that felt like an escape from the world. To ensure the home was tailored to their clients, the team eliminated a formal dining room and grand front staircase to gain a large entry hall space. Bathrooms were renovated and a playroom was added to accommodate the young family.

The team opted for traditional interiors with modernized elements that fit the busy lifestyle of this young family of four. Because the family embraced color and pattern, Roger chose a mix of muted tones sparked by bold accents. A favorite space is the kitchen, with its blue painted millwork, mitered edge counters, and fully integrated marble apron sink. Another favorite — an oak paneled study — features a contrasting oak and brass-framed wet bar with antique mirrored walls.
